# v0.1.0

2026-09-11

> Hello, world. This is Deplo's first tagged build: connect a repo or pick a template, and Deplo does the builds, the addresses and the certificates on a machine you choose.
>
> What follows is what 0.1.0 shipped with, by area, rather than the 1816 commits behind it.

**What's in it**

- **Deploy** - connect a GitHub repo and push, upload an archive, point at an image, or bring your own compose file. The build runs on the machine you picked, never on your laptop.
- **Templates** - a catalogue with variants and a storefront, set up in one dialog with its variables already filled in.
- **Apps** - live status, build and runtime logs, a terminal in the browser, rollback to a kept build, resource limits and scheduled commands.
- **Domains** - add an address and the certificate arrives with it, with redirects, a password wall, wildcards, several services behind one app, and a warning when the address is not pointing here yet.
- **Databases** - managed Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis and ClickHouse, each with one connection card, an optional public port, and backups of its own.
- **Backups** - a schedule per app or database, to a bucket or to a server's own disk, with restore and retention.
- **Previews** - an address for every open pull request, with its own variables and a guard for forks.
- **Servers** - add a machine and Deplo sets it up by itself, then watches the whole fleet: readings, metrics and disk.
- **Teams** - fine-grained Capabilities, roles you edit per team, folders a member can be limited to, Activity, API tokens and a two-factor policy.
- **Migrations** - bring apps, variables, addresses and data over from another platform.
- **MCP** - AI agents drive Deplo through its own tools, behind a team token.
- **Install and takeover** - one command installs Deplo, and it can take over a machine that is already serving something else: the addresses stay, the ports move.
