# The Deplo host is just another server

The machine running Deplo enrols its own agent like every other server and is reached over the network like every other server. There is no in-process shortcut for "local".

## Why it matters

The code path you use every day on one machine is the one a remote fleet uses, so adding a second server changes nothing about how the first one behaves.
