Vercel Pro is $20 a month for every person who deploys. The same push here costs the server.

Not opinions: one is their price list, the other two are in their own documentation.
Vercel Pro is $20 a month with one deploying seat inside. Everybody else who deploys is $20 more, every month. Here the team is as big as it needs to be and the bill is the server.
A queue consumer or a Postgres has no HTTP request to wake it, so Vercel's guide sends them to Queues, Workflows, Cron Jobs or a Marketplace database, each on its own bill. Here each one is an app on the same server, awake all night, with its own volume.
On Vercel, limiting somebody to a single project means the Contributor role, and that is an Enterprise plan. Here you share one folder with a role like "can deploy, can't delete": they see its apps and nothing outside it.

Three answers, two numbers. Theirs comes from their published price list; ours is a plan you can buy today.
$100/ month
A worker or a database cannot stay awake here. Vercel's own guide moves workers to Queues, Workflows or Cron Jobs and databases to a Marketplace provider, each billed on its own.
$16.71/ month

Vercel Pro numbers are their published list, read on 8 October 2026. Function and image usage is left out of both columns: on Pro the $20 monthly credit covers it for a small app. vercel.com
Click around a real Deplo on a real server for a few minutes. No email, no password, nothing to migrate yet.
Try the demoDeploys, backups, logs, metrics and TLS, already on. Nothing to buy on top, nothing to hunt down.
Ask, and it's done. Connect Claude, Cursor or any assistant that supports MCP, and it can deploy, read the logs and roll back when you ask in plain words. It works with a key you create and can revoke at any time, and it can never do more than you can. Nothing connects until you create a key, and one switch turns it off for the whole team.

Your whole release process becomes a push. Connect GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Gitea once. Every push to your main branch goes live, every pull request on GitHub gets its own preview link that disappears when it closes, and a bad release goes back to the version that worked.

Your team works on the same apps without stepping on each other. Give each person exactly the access they need, like "can deploy, can't delete", and hand a freelancer or a client one project and nothing else. The activity timeline shows who did what and when, right in the dashboard.

Your app online without touching a setting. Connect the repo and you get a live link, and HTTPS the moment you add your domain. Deplo recognises your framework and builds it for you, and Postgres or Redis sits next to your app in two clicks. Same stack you ran on the cloud. Only the bill changed.

What stays the same, what changes, and what it costs.
No, and nothing that runs on one server is. You get the same push-to-deploy, a preview for every pull request on GitHub, free SSL and one-click rollbacks, on hardware you choose. What you do not get is a global edge network or compute that scales to zero: your app runs where your server is.
No. Deplo detects the framework from your package.json on every deploy and builds with Railpack or Nixpacks. If you already have a Dockerfile, pick the Dockerfile method and it is used as it is.
Your API routes keep working: the app runs in a container as the framework's own server, routes included. What has to change is anything built on platform products, like Blob storage, Global Config or a Marketplace database.
Nothing. Deplo is free and open source under AGPL-3.0, with no seats, no trial and no paid tier. The only bill is the server, from a partner or from a provider you already use.
Answer three questions and pick a host, or install Deplo on a server you already have. It's free, and leaving is as easy as arriving. What you do with the money you save is your business.
