Deplo is built in the open by a small team of maintainers and everyone who sends a pull request, opens an issue or answers a question on Discord.
Why Deplo exists
Deplo sits in between: push a repository, pick a server, and the app is built, deployed and served with HTTPS, on hardware you control and at the price of that hardware.
Every line of Deplo is public under the GNU Affero General Public License v3. You can read it, run it and change it.
Run it on a VPS, a machine at home or a partner's server. Deplo itself costs nothing: you pay for the hardware, at the hardware's price.
Nothing in the product waits for a licence key or a server of ours. Your installation keeps running whatever happens to us.
Deplo was founded by Kevin Paratore in Italy and is run under the name DeploCloud. Kevin maintains it with Federico Valeri and Elia Frigerio, together with everyone below.
Through GitHub Sponsors and through the hosting partners listed on the site: when you buy a server from one of them through our link we may receive a commission, and the price you pay stays the same.
For anything about the project, write to [email protected] or find us on Discord. Security issues go to [email protected]: the security page explains how we handle them.
Answer three questions and pick a host, or install Deplo on a server you already have. It's free, and leaving is as easy as arriving. What you do with the money you save is your business.
